controlling the tongue
Saturday, May 22nd, 2010Today we at college group we learned about the importance of our tongue. Such a small part of us can greatly effect everything. We can either talk life into people or death. Which do you want to do? We talked about how our tongue shows what is in our heart and the love and shape of it. We learned that the smallest spark of hatred, or evil, can completely effect our talk and how we treat others. I would like to encourage everyone to take a look at their hearts and their talk. Does it bring life into people, sing God’s praises, or does it put people down, and curse men. “Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?” James 3:11.
